Cyberspace AI Security Contest

2020-07-21 19:11:39

China's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic early this year has caused a significant impact on the country's economic and social development. Amidst efforts to bring back some degree of normalcy to the workplace, production facilities, and schools while still carrying out pandemic control, information technologies represented by big data and AI have played a prominent supporting role, but they also present various cybersecurity challenges such as network attacks, frauds, and important data and personal information leakages. To thoroughly implement the instructions given by Chinese President Xi Jinping on coordinating pandemic containment and social and economic development, accelerate the construction of secure and controllable information technology systems, and build a solid cybersecurity protection system for the post-pandemic era, we have planned this year's Cyberspace AI Security Contest in combination with the "Phytium CPU + Kylin OS ecosystem".

Schedule

1. Registration and eligibility review: from June 1 to 20

2. Online qualifier: from 9:00 to 21:00 on June 24

Introduction

I. Event Introduction

To thoroughly implement the guidelines by Chinese President Xi Jinping during his inspection of Nankai University in January 2019 on "strengthening fundamental research, and striving for original and self-reliant innovation with more achievements", the Cyberspace AI Security Contest was held in Tianjin in 2019, which combined the traditional cybersecurity competition and the "Phytium CPU + Kylin OS ecosystem". This contest played an important role in cultivating cybersecurity talent, driving technological innovation, and promoting industrial development.
